Theresa helps ensure that everything runs smoothly for our residents. Whether it’s leasing, recertifications, or addressing concerns about homes, she’s here to support them. She also works closely with families and staff, and she says her most important job is to make Golden West a welcoming and comfortable place to live and work.
Theresa has been with Boulder Housing Partners for three years. She has spent time working within each of their housing programs, which gives her a well-rounded sense of how to support all types of residents. She has enjoyed her time at Golden West saying, “Golden West has a truly special atmosphere. The residents have incredible stories and life experiences, and I love listening to them and sharing my own. It makes this community a unique and enriching place to work. And the strong sense of connection among residents and staff is something I truly appreciate.”
Theresa has noticed changes at Golden West since she first joined the community, even before the transition to BHP ownership was completed. “I’ve noticed a real shift—residents have told me they feel the sense of community growing stronger again. With BHP’s support, I see even more improvements on the horizon, from enhanced resident services and community programs to facility upgrades that make life here even more comfortable. It’s exciting to be part of that progress.”
She shared some of her passions outside of work, including photography and spending time with her pets and family. She also loves watching horror movies, which might explain her love of Halloween and costume planning. Theresa has two cats and three dogs, which keep her busy, and she’s a proud aunt to two energetic and creative nephews.
We are fortunate to have Theresa as part of the Golden West family, and it appears she feels the same. “I’m so grateful to be part of the Golden West community. Even in the short time I’ve been here, I’ve built meaningful connections with residents and their families, and I look forward to more.
