Golden West will welcome representatives from the Boulder International Film Festival for a special screening of Favorite Short Films of 2016.

 

 

“What Makes A Good Life?” Ted Talk screening and discussion 
Tuesday, May 9 at 10:30 a.m. in the Aspen Room.
In this talk, Robert Waldinger shares three important lessons learned from a study as well as some practical, old-as-the-hills wisdom on how to build a fulfilling, long life. After the screening, enjoy an engaging discussion with audience members.

“Why We Make Bad Decisions” Ted Talk screening and discussion 
Tuesday, May 16 at 10:30 a.m. in the Aspen Room.
In this talk, Dan Gilbert presents the ideas of Bernoulli on how to make good decisions, but says we have ignored his principles for the last 300 years. After the screening, enjoy an engaging discussion with audience members.
